Know where every document stands
Sent and not opened is a different problem from opened and not signed. The first needs a resend. The second needs a conversation.
Most tools show you one undifferentiated pending. Signatures records when each person opened it, so you know which of the two you are looking at.

Common questions
Do signers need an account?
No. A signer gets a private link and signs in the browser. Only the people managing envelopes need to be in your workspace.
What do we get at the end?
One flattened PDF with the signatures burned in, a certificate page recording each signer, their consent and their timestamps, and a hash of both the document and the final file.
Can a signer keep their own copy?
Yes, and they need no account. When the last signer finishes, everyone on the envelope is emailed the completed PDF as an attachment, with a private link to view or download it again.
